Adult and Couples Therapy
Caregivers are an integral part of their child’s path towards healthy adjustment and functioning.Individual Therapy
So many triggers get brought up in our daily caregiving experiences, which can make it challenging to meet our child’s and our own emotional needs. Accordingly, we offer caregivers their own therapeutic space to discuss their personal history and struggles, which can influence their parenting style and template, emotional presence, and the dynamics in their family system.
Our services are available to all, whether your child is receiving services at our clinic, or you are completely new to us and are seeking adult supports independently. Though we focus on providing services to parents/caregivers, you do not have to be a caregiver to gain support at our clinic. You’re welcome to access our adult support services for the following referring concerns:
- Attachment
- Trauma/Post-traumatic stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress and life transitions
- Grief and Loss
- Anger and Regulation
- Relationship challenges
Couples Therapy
For those who are generally struggling in their relationship, or seeking specific support to better their communication and co-parenting success, we have a seasoned Registered Psychologist who offers evidence-based therapeutic approaches (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method) to support partners and their goals. These approaches have been shown to help couples create partnerships that are more supportive, emotionally attuned, and resilient in the face of life stressors.
*Please note that we do not offer mediation services for high conflict parent separation and divorce or provide direct opinion to resolve parenting time and access disputes. Services are strictly educational and therapeutic in nature.
