MA, M. ED

Registered Provisional Psychologist 2981p

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with 10 years of experience in private practice, school-based settings, and indigenous communities. I specialize in supporting children, youth, and young adults facing emotional, academic, and behavioural challenges and trauma. My dedication to helping clients navigate through various disorders and issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, family conflict, and trauma, reflects my commitment to their well-being.

In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. I believe in using a warm, non-judgment, client centered approach to provide unconditional support and a safe, trusting environment for my clients to feel respected. I also believe in working collaboratively with my clients to support through life’s obstacles and empower them as they embark on a personal experience of healing by exploring their inner feelings, beliefs, and behaviours.

My therapeutic toolkit includes a diverse range of modalities, including attachment-based therapy, play therapy, art and sand tray therapy, Thera play, mindfulness, family systems therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectal behaviour therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, EMDR, and person-centered therapy. By tailoring therapy to meet each client’s unique needs, I aim to facilitate meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

I am honoured to accompany clients on their journey towards healing and growth, and I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support every step of the way.

“Probably the biggest insight… is that happiness is not just a place, but also a process. Happiness is an ongoing process of fresh challenges, and it takes the right attitudes and activities to continue to be happy.”
