Registered Occupational Therapist
I have a broad range of experience working with children in home, school, clinical, and community settings in Central and Northern Alberta. Throughout my career, I have worked with children of all ages and a wide range of diagnoses.
In my work with children and families, I focus on understanding and supporting challenges in areas such as emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, feeding, sleeping, and toileting. I am passionate about helping families understand and address any underlying difficulties that may be impacting a child’s participation in the activities, routines, and relationships that are important to them and working collaboratively with both children and caregivers to develop creative solutions to help address these challenges. I am passionate about using a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach to help children continue to learn, grow, and thrive in ways that best match their unique needs.
“Parenthood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It’s about understanding that he is exactly the person he is supposed to be. And that, if you’re lucky, he just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.”
