Registered Psychologist

I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings with diverse populations during my career, leaving me with a deep appreciation and respect for the challenges individuals face and the resiliency demonstrated in the face of adversity.

I have worked as a psychologist for a large school board for 21 years.  In that time I have come to appreciate how information about an individual’s specific learning profile can offer opportunities to remediate areas of difficulty and build upon their strengths.  I believe in using a holistic approach in looking at children and adults, with a focus on building their sense of competency in all areas of life.  By identifying challenges with attention, anxiety, emotional regulation and executive functioning, it becomes possible to develop strategies to manage these difficulties and empower individuals to fulfil their potential and increase their sense of self confidence.
