Hello! I am a Registered provisional Psychologist passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults, and parents to navigate and cope with challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief and loss, interpersonal conflict and communication issues, neurodevelopmental disorders, maladaptive behaviour, and traumatic stress. My background supporting the social-emotional development of children in the school system has led to a deep understanding of the unique experiences faced by children across environments.
I strive to create a space of non-judgement, warmth, and trust for clients to feel safe to show up as their most authentic self. Tending towards a relationship-focused approach to counselling, my goal is to meet clients right where they are at. I understand life can be messy, uncomfortable, and uncertain, and sometimes we just need someone to sit in it with us. Other times we may be ready to get up and go but need some help finding the way. I use attachment, cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, mindfulness, narrative, person-centred, and strengths-based theories and interventions to co-create a path towards greater self-understanding, positive growth, and change.
