Hi, I’m Ashley — and I’m so glad you’re here.

My work with young people is guided by three foundational pillars: encouragement, connection, and development. I believe that when children and teens feel truly seen, supported, and empowered, meaningful change can begin. My goal is to help young people—and the adults who care for them—gain insight into their experiences, build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and feel fully heard.

Every child or teen I work with receives a custom-tailored treatment approach. I take into account their unique personality, interests, and temperament, and integrate these into the therapeutic process to create a space where they can feel safe, capable, and engaged.

With over eight years of clinical experience, I’ve supported children, teens, and families through a wide range of emotional, social, and behavioural challenges. I specialize in working with children under 10 through play therapy, with advanced training from the Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute. My approach is grounded in both child development and the science of play, and I use a variety of modalities including Integrative Play Therapy, Adlerian Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and, when appropriate, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

I support children with concerns such as:

  • Anxiety
  • ADHD
  • OCD
  • Anger and emotional dysregulation
  • Trauma
  • Transition and adjustment difficulties
  • Social or play skill development

I have a particular clinical expertise in supporting children with ADHD and anxiety.

With teens, my priority is to create a space where they feel validated, connected, and understood. I’ve worked with adolescents for many years, helping them navigate:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Emotional intensity and anger
  • ADHD
  • Life transitions
  • Identity development

My work with teens draws from CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and Narrative Therapy, always within a relationship of mutual trust and respect.

I also offer psychoeducational assessments for children, teens, and adults, as well as specialized ADHD assessments for adults seeking clarity and support.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to be your person. Whether you’re seeking support for your child, your teen, or yourself—I’m here to help you build insight, connection, and a better path forward.
